CCD-Serial RS-232/485/422 Terminal Block (Phoenix) Fibre Optic Media Converter

The CCD-Serial RS-232/485/422 Series Media Converter is equipped with a multi-interface circuit that can handle RS-232, or RS-485/422 serial interfaces for multi-mode or single-mode fibre. It is used to extend serial transmission distance up to 2km (multi-mode fibre) or up to 20km (single-mode fibre).

The CCD-Serial RS-232/485/422 Series incorporates a method for automatically detecting the serial signal baud rate, which is an extremely convenient feature for the user. Even if a devices baud rate changes, the signal will still be transmitted through the RS-232 or RS-485/422 to fibre converter without any problem.

The RS-232 and RS-485/422 interfaces cannot be used at the same time to convert to fibre.
